Anne Baxter was born in Michigan City, Indiana, on May 7, 1923. She was the daughter of a salesman, Kenneth Stuart Baxter, and his wife, Catherine Dorothy (Wright), who herself was the daughter of Frank Lloyd Wright, the world-renowned architect. Anne was a young girl of 11 when her parents moved to New York City, which at that time was still the hub of the entertainment industry even though the film colony was moving west. The move there encouraged her to consider acting as a vocation. By the time she was 13 she had already appeared in a stage production of 'Seen but Not Heard'", and had garnered rave reviews from the tough Broadway critics. The play helped her gain entrance to an exclusive acting school.
In 1937, Anne made her first foray into Hollywood to test the waters there in the film industry. As she was thought to be too young for a film career, she packed her bags and returned to the New York stage with her mother, where she continued to act on Broadway and summer stock up and down the East Coast. Undaunted by the failure of her previous effort to crack Hollywood, Anne returned to California two years later to try again. This time her luck was somewhat better. She took a screen test which was ultimately seen by the moguls of Twentieth Century-Fox, and she was signed to a seven-year contract. However, before she could make a movie with Fox, Anne was loaned out to MGM to make 20 Mule Team (1940). At only 17 years of age, she was already in the kind of pictures that other starlets would have had to slave for years as an extra before landing a meaty role. Back at Fox, that same year, Anne played Mary Maxwell in The Great Profile (1940), which was a box-office dud. The following year she played Amy Spettigue in the remake of Charley's Aunt (1941). It still wasn't a great role, but it was better than a bit part. The only other film job Anne appeared in that year was in Swamp Water (1941). It was the first role that was really worth anything, but critics weren't that impressed with Anne, her role nor the movie. In 1942 Anne played Joseph Cotten's daughter, Lucy Morgan, in The Magnificent Ambersons (1942). The following year she appeared in The North Star (1943), the first film where she received top billing. The film was a critical and financial success and Anne came in for her share of critical plaudits. Guest in the House (1944) the next year was a dismal failure, but Sunday Dinner for a Soldier (1944) was received much better by the public, though it was ripped apart by the critics. Anne starred with John Hodiak, who would become her first husband in 1947 (Anne was to divorce Hodiak in 1954. Her other two husbands were Randolph Galt and David Klee).
In 1946 Anne portrayed Sophie MacDonald in The Razor's Edge (1946), a film that would land her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She had come a long way in so short a time, but for her next two films she was just the narrator: Mother Wore Tights (1947) and Blaze of Noon (1947). It would be 1950 before she landed another decent role--the part of Eve Harrington in All About Eve (1950). This film garnered Anne her second nomination, but she lost the Oscar to Judy Holliday for Born Yesterday (1950). After several films through the 1950s, Anne landed what many considered a plum role--Queen Nefretiri in Cecil B. DeMille's The Ten Commandments (1956). Never in her Hollywood career did Anne look as beautiful as she did as the Egyptian queen, opposite Charlton Heston and Yul Brynner. After that epic, job offers got fewer because she wasn't tied to a studio, instead opting to freelance her talents. After no appearances in 1958, she made one film in 1959 Season of Passion (1959) and one in 1960 Cimarron (1960).
After Walk on the Wild Side (1962), she took a hiatus from filming for the next four years. She was hardly idle, though. She appeared often on stage and on television. She wasn't particularly concerned with being a celebrity or a personality; she was more concerned with being just an actress and trying hard to produce the best performance she was capable of. After several notable TV appearances, Anne became a staple of two television series, East of Eden (1981) and Hotel (1983). Her final moment before the public eye was as Irene Adler in the TV film Sherlock Holmes and the Masks of Death (1984). On December 12, 1985, Anne died of a stroke in New York. She was 62.- Actor

The remarkable, hyper-ambitious Material Girl who never stops re-inventing herself, Madonna has sold over three hundred million records and CDs to adoring fans worldwide. Her film career, however, is another story. Her performances have consistently drawn scathing or laughable reviews from film critics, and the films have usually had tepid, if any, success at the box office. Born Madonna Louise Ciccone in August 1958 in Bay City, Michigan, she moved to New York in 1978 and studied with renowned choreographer Alvin Ailey, joined up with the Patrick Hernandez Revue, formed a pop/dance band called Breakfast Club and began working with then-boyfriend Stephen Bray on recording several disco-oriented songs. New York producer/D.J. Mark Kamins passed her demo tapes to Sire Records in early 1982 and the rest is history. The 1980s was Madonna's boom decade, and she dominated the music charts with a succession of multimillion-selling albums, and her musical and fashion influence on young women was felt around the globe. Madonna first appeared on screen in two low-budget films marketed to an adolescent audience: A Certain Sacrifice (1979) and Vision Quest (1985). However, she scored a minor cult hit with Desperately Seeking Susan (1985) starring alongside spunky Rosanna Arquette. Madonna's next effort with then husband Sean Penn, Shanghai Surprise (1986), was savaged by critics, although the resilient star managed to somewhat improve her standing with her next two films, the offbeat Who's That Girl (1987) (although she did receive decidedly mixed reviews, they weren't as negative as those of her previous effort) and the quirky Damon Runyon-inspired Bloodhounds of Broadway (1989). The big-budget and star-filled Dick Tracy (1990) had her playing bad girl "Breathless Mahoney" flirting with Warren Beatty, but the epic failed to catch fire at the box office. Taking an earthier role, Madonna was much more entertaining alongside Tom Hanks and Geena Davis in A League of Their Own (1992), a story about female baseball players during W.W.II. However, she again drew the wrath of critics with the sexy whodunit Body of Evidence (1992). Several other minor screen roles followed, then Madonna starred as Eva Perón in Evita (1996), a fairly well received screen adaptation of the hugely successful Broadway musical, for which she received a Golden Globe for Best Actress. The Material Girl stayed away from the movie cameras for several years, returning to co-star in the lukewarm romantic comedy The Next Best Thing (2000), followed by the painful Swept Away (2002). If those films weren't bad enough, she was woefully miscast as a vampish fencing instructor in the James Bond adventure Die Another Day (2002). After finally admitting that her acting days were over, Madonna began a directing career in 2008 with the barely remembered Filth and Wisdom (2008) and a year later she reunited with Madonna: Truth or Dare (1991) director Alek Keshishian to develop a script about the relationship between the Duke of Windsor and the Duchess of Windsor that led to his abdication in 1936: the result, a movie named W.E. (2011), starring James D'Arcy and Andrea Riseborough as the infernal but still royal couple, was released in 2011 to lukewarm critics but it gathered one Oscar nomination for costumes and won the Golden Globe for Best Original Song for "Masterpiece".- Actor

It all started with a missed opportunity. Rick was born and grew up in Bay City Michigan. He had a Drama Teacher in High School, who all but begged that class clown to take his class. Evidently, he saw something in Rick that he couldn't see himself. He missed a big opportunity, after later learning his drama teacher ran the stage and theater circuit for three cities. Later in life, Rick was bitten by the acting bug. After watching a lot of movies, and when he got hurt at work, he was off on a medical leave for almost a year. He had to have both shoulders rebuilt. During recovery, he auditioned for a dinner theater, requesting a small role, but wound up with a lead. He enjoyed the part, but had to have a coat draped over his shoulder to hide the sling and bandages. Rick's played a few roles in film and on stage locally. He currently enjoys acting and also screenwriting. He has a portfolio screenplays registered with the WGAw. He's also directed and produced, which seems to be his greater talent, as people tend to naturally gravitate toward him, making him very easy to work with.- Writer

David C. Hayes was born on 24 November 1971 in Garden City, Michigan, USA. He is a writer and producer, known for Rottentail (2018), Comic Book Men (2012) and Machined (2006). He has been married to Rachel Stanley since 9 September 2000.- She was one of Mack Sennett's famous Bathing Beauties. Blonde, blue-eyed Harriet Hammond graced the screen for little more than a decade, having abandoned earlier designs of becoming a concert pianist. She entered films in 1918 and made her name as an athletic knockabout comedienne in two-reel shorts. Harriet appeared with most of the great Sennett comics, including Charles Murray, Chester Conklin, Ford Sterling, Ben Turpin and Billy Bevan. She left Sennett (and slapstick comedy) in 1921 and free-lanced for several years. Commanding leads and second leads in crime films and melodramas, she was now paid a handsome salary (by any standards) of $1000 a week. Sometime prior to 1923, she was injured when dynamite exploded too close to her. Out of work for more than a year, she sued the studio. In the end, neither her career, nor (presumably) her looks quite recovered from the mishap. Sources at the time commented, that she now had a somewhat tragic aura about her. There were several more starring roles for Harriet in the mid- and late 20's. Possibly the best of these was opposite Lew Cody in the romantic comedy Man and Maid (1925), based on a novel by Elinor Glyn. By 1928, Harriet's career was essentially over and she retired after a bit part in her only talkie in 1930.

Jason Riley Hoss was born in Garden City, Michigan on March 16, 1977. As an only child raised by hard working parents, his father moved the family to Louisiana for a short time, then to Texas to settle down when Jason was five. Jason was an above average student and found he had a love for film at an early age when watching The Terminator (1984) and Aliens (1986). He was fascinated by the imagery and effects he saw and knew then that he wanted to someday work in that industry. He remained steadfast in his love of film, but became quite an accomplished baseball player in the positions of catcher, short stop, and pitcher throughout his schooling. He concentrated on baseball, never taking any acting classes or joining any theatre groups. It was during his junior year of high school that he decided baseball was not his future and set out to find his own path. After graduating Marshall High School in 1995, Jason attended Kilgore Junior College for one and a half semesters, dropped out, and then joined the US Army. He served for three years which included a tour of duty in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Just shortly after being honorably discharged in 1999, he and a close friend started an independent film company in Indiana. After three months, Jason felt that at that time he was not ready for the business and left Indiana for Texas to further his education and better support his film aspirations for the future. Jason maintained a 4.0 average, became a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and in 2002 received his Associate of Applied Science Degree in Telecommunication Technology from Texas State Technical College in Marshall, Texas. After he graduated, Jason moved to Dallas, Texas, where he began his work in the wireless repair industry. It was at this time Jason began attending the KD Studio Actors Conservatory to study acting for film and television while promoting himself as an actor for hire. Jason finally made his break as an actor and producer when he was asked to become involved with and co-star in the 2007 feature film, "The Lawless".- Actor
